Head to the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, your tour guide will escort you for a nice walking tour to fully come to terms with the best highlights of Chefchaouen. It’s one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, the name of Chefchaouen or “Chaouen” is derived from the shape of the mountain’s tops in which it’s nestled.
Chefchaouen was founded in 1471 as a small fortress to fight the Portuguese of northern Morocco. It has become popular thanks to its unique ambience, location and above all the blue-washed color by which it is painted. The walking tour will include a visit to the Kasbah built by Moulay Ismail, the Uta El Hammam that is located at the heart of the city and known for its vibrant and lined cafes. Walk from there through the beautiful and clean alleyways to the Ras El Ma Spring to enjoy the panoramic view of the whole valley. In the afternoon, you may want to spend some time people watching while enjoying a mint tea.
This tour starts from 90 € depending on how many people participating in it, and can be customized to your needs & budget.

We had a wonderful time in Tanger and Chefchaouen. Mohamed arranged our tickets for the boat from Tarifa and showed us around Tanger. He was attentive to our wishes and also made the visit interesting for our 8-year old son. Because Mohamed was not available on day two, he arranged for a driver and a guide in chefchaouen. The guide in Chefchaouen, Amina, was also very enthousiastic. We can recommend Mohamed and Amina to everybody who wants to visit Tanger and chefchouan!!!
I contacted Mohammed only a week before traveling to set up a customized day trip to the Caves of Hercules and Chefchaouen. He was already booked, but he set us up with another tour guide, Abu. I was very impressed with Mohammed's communication during the whole process. It sounds like a small detail, but he always included my name in the salutation. None of the other guides I contacted did this. It was also clear from the emails that he was responding to my questions specifically rather than sending a form email. The tour itself was worth the trip from Spain. Abu knew the best place to eat and even ordered ahead of time for us by phone, so we'd have enough time to eat before returning to Tangier. He helped me with haggling since that stresses me out, and he did an all around good job. I highly recommend Tangier Private Tours for your touring needs.
