Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Tangier Private Tours, every experience is carefully prepared in advance through reservations, transport coordination, guides, and operational planning. By confirming a booking, guests agree to the following cancellation and refund conditions.
Payment Options
Guests may reserve their experience using one of the following methods:
Option 1 – Deposit to Secure the Booking
A deposit is paid in advance to confirm the reservation, with the remaining balance paid in cash on the day of the tour unless otherwise agreed.
Option 2 – Full Payment in Advance
Guests may choose to pay the full tour amount in advance at the time of booking.
Cancellation by the Customer
A. Bookings Secured with Deposit Only
More than 14 days before the tour
- Deposit: Non-refundable
- No further charges apply
7–14 days before the tour
- Deposit: Non-refundable
- No further charges apply
Less than 7 days before the tour
- Deposit: Non-refundable
- Tangier Private Tours reserves the right to request compensation for any non-recoverable third-party expenses already committed on behalf of the guest.
No-show or Same-Day Cancellation
- Deposit remains non-refundable
- Reserved services may be cancelled without further obligation from Tangier Private Tours
B. Fully Paid Bookings
More than 14 days before the tour
- Deposit portion: Non-refundable
- Remaining prepaid amount: 100% refundable
7–14 days before the tour
- Deposit portion: Non-refundable
- Remaining prepaid amount: 50% refundable
Less than 7 days before the tour
- Deposit portion: Non-refundable
- Remaining prepaid amount: Non-refundable
No-show or Same-Day Cancellation
- No refund will be issued
Changes to Bookings
Requests to change the travel date must be submitted at least 7 days before departure and remain subject to availability.
Tangier Private Tours may approve one date change without penalty where operationally possible.
Cancellation by Tangier Private Tours
If Tangier Private Tours must cancel a confirmed booking due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, guests will be offered:
- Rescheduling to another available date; or
- An alternative experience of comparable value; or
- Refund of amounts already paid, including the deposit if no alternative solution can reasonably be offered.
Force majeure includes but is not limited to:
- Ferry cancellations
- Severe weather conditions
- Border closures
- Government restrictions
- Political instability
- Natural disasters
- Events making operation unsafe or impossible
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method and may require 5–14 business days, depending on the payment provider.
By placing a booking with Tangier Private Tours, guests acknowledge and accept this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
