TANGIER TO ASILAH DAY TRIP ITINERARY
The Tangier & Asilah Day Trip includes a nice drive through the Ville Nouvelle that was built by the eight International Powers. The new town is divided into districts named after the countries that were behind their construction. You’ll drive through the Iberia Districts where the Mohammed V Mosque Grand Mosque is noticeable from afar. From here, you’ll drive uphill where fancy villas, mansions and palaces including the Royal Palace are located.
Our drive will lead us to the promontory Cap Spartel offering stunning views, and where it’s believed both the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Seas converge.
Now it’s time to experience the camel ride before heading Asilah.
You’ll drive through the Atlantic Coastline south of Tangier, passing by stunning beaches and enjoy beautiful views before reaching Asilah.
This city was built by the Portuguese as fortress and the ramparts are still witnessing an era of political fluctuations. Asilah is known for its annual Festival when painter and artists from all over the world come to leave their artistic stamp on the walls of the Medina. Meander around the beautifully-painted streets before heading back to Tangier.

TANGIER TO ASILAH DAY TRIP REVIEWS
Me and my mother (tangier born long time ago) spent with him a full day in Tangier, morning walk through the old city which included nice small streets, markets and views. and afternoon season of driving to the fisherman's village of Asilah. Muha is very kind and nice, very knowledgable, speaks few languages (I heard english, french, Spanish and of course arabic). all was perfect and in a reasonable price and I will surely use him again next time we are in beautiful Morocco.
(...) Day 3 : We visited a city called Asilah the clean town with Portuguese style of architecture, we had some cactus fruit, and the locals call it prickly pear, strolling through the narrow streets and then the local market where we murdered some yummy delicious freshly grilled sardines. Yum yum!(...) I most appreciated about Muhammad though was his openness to talk about his personal life, the politics of his country, and hot topics, like women’s rights and spirituality. In summary, I had an amazing, fun, and safe tour in Tangier and surrounding cities because of Muhammad, I am glad to call him a friend and helped me to reconnect with humanity!
